All of our audiometric testing is performed by a qualified Audiometric Technician using a calibrated audiometer and a soundproof booth that is sterilized between every client.
While in the booth: you will receive sterilized headphones and a hand-switch, which you will use to let the technician know when you can hear the beep that is transmitted at differing frequencies in each ear.
When testing is complete, you will be given a results card of your hearing test and a full explanation of what the results mean for you and your hearing. *Please keep this card to present to the Audiometric Technician for comparison at your next test.*
After testing: you will also receive information on which hearing protection would be best suited to your work environment/situation as well as training on the proper use and, in some cases, the proper cleaning of your hearing protection.
